The top baseball recruit to Louisville this year, Nick Burdi came to camp with huge expectations. Preseason workouts started today, and as usual, Burdi came through. The mile run was the first of 10 team competitions, and the 220 pound pitcher took first out of the ENTIRE TEAM! Unreal for a kid that size. Can’t wait for the big man events like the tire flip and hammer throw. We’re looking for a clean sweep, Burdi!

Nick Burdi and Matt Wivinis are a two-headed monster for the pitching staff of DGS high school! The team is in Arizona for spring break and they are putting on a show! Burdi threw 5 innings today with 10 k’s, gave up 1 run and hit 97 mph. Wivinis got the win yesterday against the #1 team in the nation with 7 innings, 6 k’s and 1 run. These guys are untouchable!
