Sport Specific Training

Three main goals of the sport specific training:

1. Allowing for exact duplication of sport movement.
2. Allowing exercises to be performed at speeds similar to those used during competition.
3. Providing progressive overload. Meaning, the resistance is greater than that encountered during competition and there is ability for the muscle to improve and accommodate to the resistance being applied and the athlete’s power improves.

Get Fast offers sport specific training sessions to further enhance the Acceleration program. These sessions combine cutting edge Sprintcord technology with PNF stretching, core stabilization activities and medicine and balance ball drills to overload muscles throughout specific movements and produce measurable gains on the field of play.

Sport specific sessions are 60 minutes in length and can be completed in or out of season. Athletes must be enrolled in, or have completed, at least one level of the Acceleration program in order to be eligible for sport specific training. We recommend 1 to 2 sessions per week for optimum development.
